      To Ms. Spirituality.

      Perhaps we should get back to the question at hand before newsvine starts to think we are using this as a personal chat room. I know I have a humorous spirit in me and I like to joke around a lot, so perhaps I have not made my serious belief system clear.

      Do dead people watch us? Yes, author says

      "NO" says I.

      1. I do believe that there is a spirit in all of us but that spirit is a new spirit that is put in us at conception by a Great Spirit who is without begining or end. Some of us refer to this Spirit as 'God"

      2. I believe in a spirit world where this Great Spirit resides with all of his created spirits (Angles, which means 'messenger'), not former human spirits, and that He and these spirits can communicate with our spirit; Not with us directly but with our spirit. It is our spirit that makes up our personality and who we really are. I believe that there are evil spirits there as well. God did not create these spirits as evil but gave all His spirit beings the freedom of free choice just as he has done with us. Some of these spirits chose to rebel against Him and He (being more powerful than his creation) only allowed this to serve as part of His great purpose in creating us humans.

      3. I am not a 'Bible Thumper', but a Bible reader, student, and researcher. I do not preach or minister to anyone unless asked to, however I believe that when the Bible speaks of the dead being 'asleep', that it is referring to the spirit being asleep not the body. The physical body is DEAD, kaput, rotting away: The old "ASHES TO ASHES, DUST TO DUST" routine. Just where does this spirit go to sleep? Who knows? But it contains all the memories, physical data, and personality of the human being similar to data stored on a floppy or CD, and put away in a box until it is needed. These spirits do not communicate with anyone including other spirits. They are ASLEEP!

      4. (And this part may blow your mind so please make sure your spirit is buckled in tight. LOL)

      I believe that there will come a time when these spirits are awakened; some as spirit beings, some returning to flesh and blood but given fresh new bodies void of the defects, maladies, and imperfections of there old body, all based on the record stored in their spirit; that the veil separating the physical world from the spiritual world will be lifted and the physical beings will be guided by those who are now spirit.

      5. I do not believe in an ever burning Hell where evil and incorrigible wicked spirits are tormented forever. Dante wrote of this and some religions teach it but the Bible doesn't. The Bible teaches that these spirits will be permanently destroyed and cease to exist.

      As I stated before, I realize that I cannot prove any of this to anyone else. I believe it on faith based on my studies and experiences just as you do with your beliefs. I realize that I could be right on some things and wrong on others just as you could be right on some things and wrong on others. As you have said, and I strongly believe, the time will come when we will know the truth.

      Sorry, I promised not to sermonize and here I have the perfect outline for a sermon. But with that said, can I PLEASE go back to bed now and get some rest without your spirit continually knocking on the door? LOL

      Are you sure you aren't the Antichrist? LOL
